I'm so glad that you are here! If you're returning, we've missed you. If you're new, I hope that one day you find yourself on this site again.
From experience, we know that water life should be carefree and easy, am I right? There is no doubt that we want you to enjoy your time on the water but at the same time, we need you safe. Just like anything else, there are rules and regulations! But our #1 priority is to keep you and your guest safe. Below are a few major things that we need to make aware of:
1: While operating jet skis lifejackets must be worn.(They will be provided)
2: The Client making the reservation must be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver's license, and have a valid credit card.
3. All customers will be subjected to read and sign a Waiver and An Indemnity Agreement prior to rental that states that once our equipment is in your possession you and anyone that signs them are liable for any damages or accidents that make occur while operating them
4: Children Under 13 are specifically prohibited from operating jet skis unless accompanied on board by a person at least 18 years of age who can lawfully operate the jet ski
5: Boaters License Law: If you were born after September 1, 1993 you must have a boater's license regardless of your age to drive a Boat or PWC.
6: At time of meetup, we will go more into detail as far as the rules of W.O.R.D and what Comal County expects. Also how to use jet skis, The Dos and Don'ts
7: All Parties who are renting from Nu Wake are required to watch the safety video we offer on the website.
8.Jet Skis are delivered with a full tank of gas. Renters are required to fill them up at pick up. Most marinas sell fuel on the lake. Lake Dunlap doesn't have a marina so renters can follow us to gas station or we can charge you at pick up.
